Solstice Sunrise Ecstatic Dance of Fire
Dance Free at Sunrise in celebration of Summer Solstice . Moving with the powerful theme of Fire, an uplifting and soulful dance to honour nature on mid-summer’s day.
Connecting to the rhythms, each other and nature through movement and dance. Together with a suggestively elemental music journey and creative visualisations inspired by Nature you will be guided into the experience of the subtle qualities which Fire creates within us. Using wireless headsets (provided) for an immersive music experience.
What to expect:
Meet on Anderby Creek Beach.
Starting with a welcoming and a few guidelines on dancing free in the body.
There’s then a facilitated guided movement mediation over gentle music for 5 minutes which helps drop into the body.
Followed by a music journey which is a wave of different rhythms for free movement.
Simply move as much or little as you like, however you feel. 😊
This immersive music experience is led through wireless headsets providing crystal clear sound.
It’s a very warm, fun and welcoming space to let go and feel free in movement.
At the end of dance we’ll gather to connect and chat with breakfast.
As a special solstice treat we’ll be giving away oaty/fruity bowls after the dance to the first 30 people who booked tickets.

About your facilitators:
Ellie Benton is a dance and art facilitator who spent her childhood surrounded by performers, soaking up live music and movement like a little creative sponge. After years of feeling awkward in her own body, she discovered dance as a way home to herself. Now she creates spaces where others can experience that same liberation and sense of belonging.
She loves dancing so much that she also paints about it, capturing the ecstasy and joy of moving freely. Through her art classes and dance facilitation, she’s passionate about building creative communities where people support each other and playful expression thrives.
Hannah Green is a dance and movement meditation facilitator holding free-movement dance groups in nature across Lincolnshire.
As a mover, groover and initiator of positive change through dance and movement, she guides people to let go and feel free in their body.
She guides individuals through dance movement practices in natural settings, inviting them to explore their inner landscapes and deepen their connection to nature. Moving through her own world with a sensory and experiential approach, Hannah integrates music and dance to align with the rhythms of nature.
Dancing freely to music can bring everyday bliss, empowerment and release emotions in a transformative and healing way.
